Primary showing John McCain beating Tea Party

More people need to learn new things. John McCain’s main goal most recently was to beat J.D. Hayworth, from the Tea Party, in the Arizona Republican Primary elections. There are others with candidates like John McCain, but he is really good at campaigning. Hayworth will have to wait six years to run again after losing the primary. The Tea Party stuff is what everybody wants to know about. That is why the Alaska Senate race and Florida Senate race are so closely viewed.

McCain beats Tea Party

Senator John McCain was defeated in the last presidential election as a republican. He had to fight in this primary. J.D. Hayworth is a previous congressman currently running under Tea Party as a republican. He hoped to get, along with other candidates that are anti-incumbent, the Senate seat this year. Hayworth would have done best without all the hostility toward the Washington establishment. McCain received about 60 percent of the vote and Hayworth only 30 percent. CNN reports that McCain spent $20 million on campaigning and changed his ideas on immigration. Every person knows he’ll win. The democrats aren’t even a competition.

Florida Senate

Florida could be interesting this year. The election results for 2010 may be different. Governor Charlie Crist is running as an independent. Running under republican is Tea Party Marco Rubio that is also a member of Florida legislature. Kendrick Meek upset Jeff Greene after the Democratic primary ended. Greene paid for his campaign out of pocket.

Next is Alaska

The U.S. Senate race is being viewed in Alaska for Sarah Palin. Lisa Murkowski is the incumbent and has been for a while. Sarah Palin, nevertheless, is endorsing Tea Party Jeff Miller. That race is virtually neck and neck, with Miller leading by a paper thin margin. November will show the actual success of the Tea Party, although the primaries have shown a little success.
